A one-year post-graduate certificate must also be connected to the applicant’s previous undergraduate or graduate field of study in Canada if the applicant has completed an Advanced Education-approved certificate.

In addition to the deadlines mentioned above, the following work experience is required:

The work experience must have been at least 30 hours per week and in the same field as the applicant’s “current occupation.” It must have been approved by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and completed in Alberta or Canada with valid temporary resident status.
